Acceptance of terms
By installing, accessing, or using the Volux browser extension (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Description of service
Volux is a browser extension that allows users to control audio volume on a per-domain basis, and per-tab basis with the Pro version. The Service is available in two tiers:
- Free version — limited to controlling volume on 2 domains.
- Pro version — unlimited domain control, per-tab override, auto-detection of media sites, tab scanning, and priority support.
License grant
Upon purchase of a Pro license, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Pro features of Volux for personal use. This license is bound to your purchase and cannot be resold or transferred to another party.
Pricing
Pro license: $2 USD (or pay what you want).
One-time payment for lifetime access. No subscriptions, no recurring fees.
User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service.
- Not share your Pro license key with others.
- Not use the Service to interfere with other software or systems.
Intellectual property
The Service, including all code, design, logos, and content, is owned by DevLifeEasy and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. The source code is available on GitHub under the project’s license terms.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. In summary:
- We do not collect personal browsing data.
- Volume settings are stored locally on your device.
- License validation requires minimal data exchange with LemonSqueezy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all browsers or systems.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevLifeEasy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
